While I always enjoy the emails I receive, telling me that someone has posted a new comment on my blog, the one above bothers me.
Maybe it's because the comment is clearly nothing more than a shameless plug (hey! come visit my site!), or maybe because I was decent enough to actually visit the guy's site, just to realize that the "neutral viewpoint" he posts on his website is surrounded by the severe bashing of all non-micro$oft products. One of the sections of his navigation is titled Sites That Support Terrorism, and then lists the websites of several Linux builds.
Next time you post an article, do the rest of us a favor: don't search technorati (or whatever it is you searched) and plaster all other blogs with a link to your site. We're not interested.

Too right Cory (both your post and your last comment)..
I read the guys blog entry on this paid Wikipedia editing of OOXML & ODF and could have written the script for the nonsense MS bashing that would follow... If what this guy says is legit, then MS didn't ask him to make MS favourable - they asked him to write what was true, accurate and fair. Now one could speculate that their intentions are sinister and he will be forced to be 'pro-MS', but that's not how this guy's writing comes across...
So you are right, give MS a break - they are asking for the entry to be a fair and accurate portrayal - surely any self respecting person would want the same ? If not, then I say it is you that people should be aware of, not MS.
Trouble is, people want to be anti MS just for the sake of it, because it's 'cool' or 'good for linux' or something.
I'm not anti-MS in the same way I'm not anti-OpenSource. But just because I don't hate Microsoft (and think they do have some very good offerings), doesn't mean I'm anti-linux or whatever... in fact, I've recently moved all my servers over to linux at home...

[excuse the plug... ;-)]
For you, damber, anything. I even made it all linky and stuff for you - a nicety I have not granted to Mr. Evan Reiser.
