I'm supplying you with two ways to find out when I've posted something new. You're psyched, right? You can either subscribe via email, which will allow you to receive an email any time I post a new blog, or you can be all tech-savvy and subscribe via RSS feed. Either way you choose, you get more of me. It's a win-win!
Many of you may not yet know what an RSS feed is. The easiest way for me to explain it is to just tell you that, instead of having to remember to check my site every day for updates, you can use the RSS feed to notify you when there are new posts to my site. It stands for "Really Simple Syndication". You can read more about it at wikipedia's RSS article, however I think the best layman's-term description is on feedburner's help page.
Well, in order to take advantage of the RSS feed, you'll need an aggregator, which is really just like an email client - it's a utility that tells you when your favorite sites have new content. If you have a GMail account, you can utilize Google Reader, which you can then add directly to your personalized Google home page. Otherwise, you can search the internet - there are hundreds to choose from, for example, BlogLines.
Sorry! I'll get right on it. Here is my RSS feed. Just click on the link below, then copy the URL from your browser and add it to your aggregator.
